Hello, beautiful weather! We’re enjoying some lovely spring days here, so I decided to let my legs loose – watch out world.lisa wears a dress

I love this dress because It’s cute enough to dress up for a fancy occasion with heels and a blazer (not today, obvs), and works for weekend with flat sandals and a hat.
I wore this dress and these boots (I added leggings later as the wind was cooold) to Sails Restaurant in Auckland to have a sampling and check out there new menu – I like seafood it’s the crunch and texture that gets me all freaked out.   I really enjoyed the prawns, and the Kumara, plum and duck (YUM).  I just said Yes Yes Yes to all the interesting dishes.  NO REGRETS.

Dress – Postie+
Boots – The Warehouse
Necklace – Equip
Nails – Champagne Nail Bar and Spa

Postie+ have begun stocking the main clothing range right up to a size 26!  I am so grateful and hope more stores so the same.  (I am not aligned with Postie+ – I purchased the dress myself cos I liked it).
I still struggle with baring my legs, I feel so … exposed.  The last time I regularly wore a skirt was high-school.
I have figured out that if I am going to wear bare legs I have to do it with confidence.
I think that when you dress with confidence you know you have made the best choices for you and you feel comfortable in any situation. Confidence is feeling attractive and completely you.
My confidence is enhanced when we know that we are dressed appropriately for the situation.

Do you wear dresses often? How do you feel in them? Powerful, or awkward and insecure?

You look fab! I don’t have the confidence at all to bare my legs above my knees…maybe with 3/4 leggings. Baby steps!

You look good! I always wear skirts and dresses, I feel like they look much better than squishign myself into pants.
