Mini Golf Rotorua – Is it worth it?

April 30, 2017

We don’t get away very often so I will be sharing the things we did while we were in Rotorua, how much they cost, showing you how we get the best for our buck.

Mini Golf Rotorua

Giant Rabbits roam free and we are able to visit morning or night for 19 holes of Mini Golf.

Experience One at Night

A photographer I am not, but here are some photos I took, it was such a exciting experience for the kids.  The flashing lights and the bubbles in the near dark just added to the excitement.  Not even a golf club to the lip (he stood in his sisters way) could deter Jacob from the game.

The rabbits were of course the highlight and they were so chill and relaxed in a calm cool Wednesday evening, they really seems to enjoy having our warm hands pet them, they were not fazed by our loud children at all.

Experience Two During The Day

I went back the next day with my eldest to check out the day time vibes and have a one on one game of mini golf with him. It was awesome to see things in the day light – like the fish and the waterfalls – they also have bird houses set up in among the native shrubbery.
The rabbits seemed a bit more subdued this time round, I witnessed a few kids chasing them NOOOOO DO NOT CHASE THE RABBITS, when I went to take a photo of them I almost felt like they didn’t want me too – so funny how animals can give off impressions like that.   They are obviously well cared for and the staff member was keeping an eye on the kids.
Kids will be kids, BUT parents should make sure your kids don’t chase or annoy the rabbits. Honestly we just sat there and the rabbits sat beside us,  we weren’t pressuring them 😀   Its attention on the Rabbits terms hahahaha – they run the show 😛

SO…Mini Golf Rotorua – Is it worth it?

YES YES YES

Night or day?

Both if you can but if not, personally for us, the evening in the dark game was sooo exciting for the kids, even though I was going a bit mental cos Jacob won’t stay still and tries to wander.
