Sunbeam Halo + Air Fryer First Impressions.

January 23, 2019

My Mum got me a Sunbeam Halo + Airfryer for my upcoming birthday. I chose it after asking for recommendations on Instagram Stories and then researching the different brands and types myself.

The reason I chose this one was
It can hold up to 1.25kg although in the manual it shows that the weights vary depending on what type of food it is and if it is frozen, raw or fresh.
By far one of the most recommended, and a few people I know in real life have this one so I was able to get the reallll tea about it.
Full price it was $420 Mum paid $199 from Noel Leeming cos she wanted the flybuys points … LINK HERE

Some things I noticed for my first time use.
It takes up a lot of bench space, but that’s inevitable really.
There was a weird plasticy and ceramic smell – also normal.
It was actually easy to use although I did triple check the manual for cook times etc.

I wish it were possible to cook everything at the same time, I cooked the chicken first – it turned out PERFECT so moist not dry at all… so it had cooled down while I cooked the roast potatoes. Not a huge problem really as I don’t mind cold chicken but I know a few people messaged me that it would bother them.
The Roast potatoes took 40mins and were divine so perfect looking and evenly cooked and crispy – my fussy kids even ate them and they don’t eat anything that doesn’t “look” right.

I really do recommend this airfryer and I’m looking forward to experimenting more with it.

If you want to see my first try using the airfryer I have saved it in my instagram highlights – titled BIRTHDAY GIFT

What size chicken did you use, I can’t see how it would fit because of the centre column.

there is a grill that you place inside it and the chicken sits on it
