Turning a awkward corner into a cosy Nook
We have a little corner at the end of the hallway opposite our bathroom that is just begging for some style. My kids are always looking for somewhere to chill and I feel like a hallway nook is a perfect spot for reflection and reading.
Ideally I would have loved to put a small soft cosy seat or sofa in that space, but the reality of renting means it could backfire on us if/when we move so I made the call to reuse the old wicker chair that Mum gave us and soften it up with the Ezibuy bobble throw blanket in Citrus. (rrp $80.00)
As soon as I saw this throw I knew I had to have it, the texture and quality of this blanket is amazing and it’s versatile enough for the whole family to use.
Our landlords recently replaced out front door, thanks uh I think. However out new door has no window so our hallway is now quite dark so I chose the Jerome wall shelf ( rrp $99.99)to bring life to this space. I liked this shelf because it’s both compact and functional. I placed a potted fern and a light-box on it to bring some life to to the space.
I added our binoculars to the shelf as we never have anywhere to store them, the case is beautiful so I believe it should be seen. Yes we actually use the binoculars too, we are that kind of star gazing family (no liesMr 10 loves astronomy).
Books never stay on the shelves at our house so I opted for this Alfron Storage Bag (rrp $34.96) to place a few of the kids most read books in.
