Two Of My Current Fav Mumlife Oufits & Christmas is coming… WIN $100 Voucher

November 28, 2017

Online shoppers, you may have noticed The Warehouse are offering a new payment method called Part Pay at the online checkout.  If I had to describe it I would say it is a modern take of the more traditional receipt based Laybuy (Part Pay is not available in store at The Warehouse, it is online only).

So what is it, and are there risks involved with dodging the upfront cost of a shopping spree?
I want to share my take on it.

How I found out about Part Pay
I was shopping online at The Warehouse and happened to see the Part Pay icon, so I clicked on it and decided to apply by adding a few details, i wanted to find out if it really was as simple as it seemed and what control if any I had over the payments.

How I applied
I was pleasantly surprised at how it easy it was! No paperwork involved (bonus), so I entered my personal details such as name and address. ID is required for a credit check so I entered my driver’s license number and the process was complete within seconds.

How do the payments work?
Four fortnightly payments at 25% each time with your first installment made at time of purchase- but you get the goods straight away.

Can I pay off my Part Pay Early
Yes, I love the breakdown of the payment schedule –  reality means that some weeks we are more financially stretched then others but I am able to plan ahead. If I know the next payment is due on a ‘broke’ week I have the option of logging in to pay the payment before that date arrives.
To do this login and click on your profile and the payments will come up.

What about fees/interest?
Part Pay has no fees or interest, so you can use it with no additional cost (but if you miss a payment – you’re charged $8 and then a further $8 every week the payment is outstanding).

Lisa why didn’t you share the things you ordered in your first Part Pay order?
Oh man!  Sorry guys.  You know I’ve been going crazy for the plus size clothing at The Warehouse and I just could not help myself…. I also added some nail polish to add to Emilys Christmas haul.   The total order was $61 incl postage.  The minimum order required to use Part Pay at The Warehouse online is $50.

I also purchased  –

Kate Madison Half Sleeve Tee
Kate Madison Knit Tank

Here are some extra comfy Mum life everyday school holiday outfits I am rocking thanks to Part Pay. (Who else rocks the Jandals hard all summer long?)

BUT Lisa, now you are comfortably using Part Pay – what do you really want to use Part Pay for?
– Emily really wants a Hatchimal Peacat Surprise (link here)

Jacob will be getting the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage Play Set (link here)

I have been interested to see how easy part pay is, looks like it’s pretty hassle free, might have to give it a go.

I LOVE these payment options. For once, I could actually buy myself something without feeling guilty.
